Halfway in to the first episode and I had to turn it off.  The script was terrible as were the two over-rated lead actors.  Apple should stay with series like Pachinko and Teheran -- both well produced and full of drama and cultural appreciation.

I think the Apple TV+ content is generally better than what you see on other streaming services that produce their own content, but it's not all good. I tend to sort of binge watch each series over a few viewing sessions and there are times when a series is obviously stretched too thin over too many episodes. It's like you're watching a 8-12 hour movie. If a second, third, ... or whatever season appears it's now stretching out even thinner or going in an entirely new direction or three. Of course nobody is forcing anyone to keep following a series, so it's really self inflicted tedium. The pandemic plus the Hollywood strikes created some huge chasms in the middle of the some series and I sometimes have to rewatch a couple of the prior seasons to get back into the storyline.

I'm eager to see Severance come back because they left off with the mystery still intact. But I thought the second season of Slow Horses was truncated in a very inconclusive manner. Maybe it was just a half season and they'll slide in some more episodes to finish the stories. Talk about great acting. Then there are series like Bad Sisters that seemingly wrapped up very nicely at the end of the first season, at least in my mind. I thought it was done and I was okay with that. But no, it's back. Same deal with Ted Lasso, just let it end gracefully with a nice bow tied on it. No mas.

I'm now trying to focus on the "one and done" movies for a change and "Wolfs" was one of my first steps back into simple movies. It was okay I guess, I didn't fall totally asleep but was on the edge. I found it very formulaic, predictable, and even unbelievable at a silly level when it came to the car chase scenes. The name brand actors didn't make the thin plot any better. Do I want to see a sequel? Hell no.
