Is MagSafe really that great? The accessories always seem way overpriced, meaning I have never used it. We use Qi chargers all the time (and yes standby mode works), but none of the magsafe accessories.

There are multiple companies that MacSafe accessories with with an add-on magnetic ring for Android phones that can be installed on the 16e. Mophie sells magnetic rings for this purpose.

It’s very wish for Apple to offer at least one iPhone that doesn’t include the so-called “MagSafe” because they know, and many other people know as well, that MagSafe is risky at best and very dangerous at worst for people who rely on life sustaining medical equipment. In fact, Apple actually published warnings. And there are other warnings from medical professionals about MagSafe. They should rename it “MagRisk!” I bet they’ll eventually remove all references to the facts on Apple’s website, if they ever decided to include this technology on absolutely all of their iPhones **smh**
