What kind of casual shoes do you wear on hot summer days?

Athletic shoes with socks

Athletic shoes-no socks

Flip-flops

Traditional sandals like Birkenstocks

Sporty sandals like Nike, etc

Heavy shoes like Doc Marten's, etc

No shoes

Me? New Balance cross trainers with no socks.

    Birkenstocks.

In general though, I wear New Balance as my all purpose shoe. 326s and 805s at present. I always wear socks though when wearing anything but my Birks or Tevas. I nice thin white liner sock for summer, wigwam smartwool for winter time.

I like the shoes that the hot chick I was talking too was wearing. But they're not for me.

I wear these to work just about every day. I need more shoes.

I think I like these. Basically the same shoe but with the buckle. I may buy them even outside of a sale.

New Balance all the way! I have two pairs of the following. One is my get dirty pair and one is my keep clean pair. Silly yes but that is how I do it.

I have had many pairs of NB shoes and they are the best for me.

I love the style and comfort. They just fit right.

I wear them with low cut socks that are not really seen while wearing the shoes.

    2. See above.

    10. Tevas (when life-guarding).

I'm currently wearing an old pair of Clark's sandals (and used to wear classic Tevas) but have my eye on these beauties:

But I will be bare-footing it as much as possible.

Slippers (flip-flops to all you mainlanders) whenever I can.

At work, still the same old khakis and oxfords. Guys don't have a whole lot of options in my workplace. We can wear shoes or...uh...shoes.
