Amazon-owned Woot has launched a flash deal valid today only on a closeout 16-inch MacBook Pro that's equipped with an impressive 8TB of storage and 32GB of RAM.

Save $3,400 on an 8TB MacBook Pro.

If you're looking for a significant amount of storage, Woot's MacBook Pro flash sale has dropped the 16-inch M1 Max model to $1,899.99 on April 30 only.

Save $3,600

Equipped with Apple's M1 Max chip with a 10-core CPU and 24-core GPU, which was a significant chip upgrade when the line was released in Late 2021, this machine offers the benefits of Apple Silicon for users still running an Intel-based system. The laptop also has 32GB of memory, but the real standout feature is the 8TB SSD -- which was a $2,400 upgrade at the time -- bringing the original MSRP to $5,499.

For those that don't want to deal with relying on an external SSD and want to adhere to a budget, this open-box model from Woot offers ample space at a fraction of the price of a current model with a large storage capacity.

The cheapest 8TB model from the current M4 Max line is on sale for $5,300, more than $3,400 higher than this deal.

According to Woot, the laptops are in new, open-box condition and come with a 90-day Woot warranty in lieu of AppleCare. Amazon Prime members also get free standard shipping.

I got one of those the last time they had a deal like that.    Listing said it was New Open Box for a 32GB and 8TB that a hell of a deal.   Be aware you can't get AppleCare for it I tried and no go.   It's been great I do audio and more than enough speed even for big projects.    Beware if any issues getting ahold of Woot is basically impossible.   Being they are part of Amazon I contacted Amazon and they try to tell you to go to Woot.   Finally Amazon basically said they have a Woot person they will forward my Amazon ticket to, never heard back from them.    The laptop did arrive and no issues so it worked out, but I'm not sure if I would buy from Woot again.
