What isn't nice is .. that the technical details of anythign dont get out before the products. So imagine yourself doing digital cameras like in Sony, Minolta, Canon ...
Apple does share info with those bigger companies about upcoming products/technology, but they are very careful about how much they share and who knows. I think a lot of companies hide their incompetance/disinterest in developing for Macs with this whole "secret to everyone" excuse.
Whoa, Crusader, what do you do that gets you meetings with all these people?
Well let's see, Bush came to Carroll County for a aid-releafe program for kids in Afghanistan, Bob Ehrlich did campaigning in Carroll, Bill played golf up in Penn National when I was up visiting my Grandparents, and I got to meet Jobs after the MWNY '01 keynote. I did meet Ex-Gov Glendening at a democratic fundrasier in Westminster, but I don't like to mention that because I don't like the man.
I can't help but think this thread may have been to do with the thread I started about Jobs' rock star status.
Oh no, its just something I've observed on many levels on different Mac user forums. Some people literally hang on every word the man says. I just wanted some views on it, thats all. Wasn't trying to start trouble or anything.
