Apple TV+ is transforming its hit podcast "Wild Things: Siegfried & Roy" into a star-studded limited series that follows the meteoric rise -- and tragic fall -- of the legendary illusionists.

In 2021, Apple TV+ unveiled the "Wild Things: Sigfried & Roy" podcast, which followed the tale of the titular illusionists. It aimed to pull back the velvet curtain and examine the most famous and controversial magicians in history.

Now, Apple TV+ has plans to bring the story to the small screen with "Wild Things," an upcoming eight-part limited series. The series has been written, shown, and executive produced by Emmy Award nominee John Robert Hoffman, who also co-created the hit Hulu series "Only Murders in the Building."

The series will star BAFTA Award winner Jude Law, known for roles in "The Young Pope," and "Star Wars: Skeleton Crew," as Siegfried Fischbacher. Tony Award winner Andrew Garfield, known for roles in "Under the Banner of Heaven," and "Tick, Tick.. Boom!," will play Roy Horn.

"Wild Things" follows the iconic duo's attempt to transform Sin City into a family-friendly destination. Their success was later overshadowed by controversy, culminating in a 2003 tiger attack that ended their careers.

Matt Shakman, known for "Monarch: Legacy of Monsters" and "WandaVision," is set to direct the pilot. Currently, there is no release date mentioned.

Apple TV+ recently announced another eight-part limited series: "Knife Edge: Chasing Michelin Stars." The documentary will offer a glimpse into the intensive world of fine dining and the ambition, determination, and sacrifice of high-level chefs.
