WWDC attendees at Apple Park are being given a swag bag including a series of pins celebrating old Apple icons and the company's newest platform, too.

While WWDC 2025 continues to be the online video presentation instead of a live on-stage event, Apple is still welcoming attendees to watch at Apple Park itself. In the Apple Store in the company's headquarters, attendees are able to buy exclusive Apple merchandise, but they also get swag bags.

Developer Sofia Larsson was one of the first attendees to reveal the contents of the WWDC 2025 swag bag online. As well as the bag itself, attendees get:

  • A series of Apple pins

  • A WWDC lanyard

  • A WWDC 2025 drink bottle

Among the six pins are a circular one saying Apple Park, and a vertical rectangle with a System 7-style Macintosh icon. There's also a retro "Apple" spelt out in six colors, and a miniature Apple Vision Pro.

It's unusual for Apple to include retro items like the Mac icon or the Apple logo. The company tends to never look back, but as well as these pins, it's taking the same retro approach with its Apple visitor center apparel.

Of the more modern elements in the swag bag, though, the drink bottle looks particularly well done. Aside from a pink carrying handle, it is in grey with "WWDC25" written in gold down the side.

Apple always produces exclusive swag bags for attendees, although sometimes they are sent out in advance.

Isn’t swag bad for the environment or is it all carbon neutral?

The screen grabs of the images (rather than or in addition to embedded links) are appreciated for those of us who choose not to patronize Xitter. (For the record, I also don't patronize/subscribe to Facebook or Der Strümer). Merci.

Greedy Tim looking back means, that he has no vision looking forward. Time to drop Tim Cook and look for someone who actually cares more about the Apple products instead of the bottom line.
