    The 256GB configuration is worthless.  That is why it is marked down so they can get rid of that inventory that doesn't sell.  Just look at Facebook Marketplace and pretty much every Apple Silicon Mac for sale is 256GB and they all say the same thing, 'I bought this and only used it for a few months' because they realized they can't do much with only 256GB of storage and they regret the purchase.
