New Kiko Kostadinov Beats Pill blends Thracian art & modern audio
A new limited-edition Beats Pill from fashion designer Kiko Kostadinov combines ancient Thracian-inspired patterns with the latest in portable speaker technology, but you'll only find it at his Tokyo store.

New Beats Pill design
Beats and fashion designer Kiko Kostadinov have collaborated on a special edition of the Beats Pill. This edition features Thracian-inspired design and updated audio technology.
The speaker will be exclusively available at Kostadinov's Tokyo store. The limited-edition Beats Pill features a custom grille based on geometric patterns found in ancient Thracian craftsmanship.
Kostadinov reinterpreted these shapes to fit the speaker's form, linking modern technology to a deep cultural tradition. The body comes in "Kiko gray," a neutral tone used throughout the designer's work, and includes a braided lanyard inspired by Bulgarian folk amulets.
Introducing the limited-edition Kiko Kostadinov Beats Pill-- a thoughtful fusion of modern design and historical influence.

Kostadinov says the lanyard references ceremonial threads that carry protective meaning across generations. The result is a design that carries symbolic weight while remaining practical for everyday use.
Upgraded hardware and sound
Inside, the speaker matches the hardware introduced in the 2024 Beats Pill refresh. It uses a bespoke racetrack woofer for deeper bass and an updated tweeter for crisp highs and clear mids.
Beats says the design delivers powerful, room-filling sound and supports high-resolution lossless audio over USB-C.
The speaker pairs with both iOS and Android devices, includes Find My support, and uses Class 1 Bluetooth for extended range. Two listening modes are available: Amplify Mode syncs two speakers for louder sound, while Stereo Mode splits audio between left and right channels for a more immersive experience.
The built-in lithium-ion battery lasts up to 24 hours on a single charge. A 10-minute Fast Fuel charge provides up to two hours of playback. USB-C charging is supported, and the port can also be used to charge a phone directly from the speaker.
