Actually, I'm fairly sure they need a warrant for a drug bust and that that gives them the authority to enter without your explicit permission.
Except on instances where you are on the street in public domain. Since the internet is also public domain I doubt they would need to inform you they are law enforcement.

Very true. I am by no means a law student (BME actually) and my personal advice is if you don't do it you don't have to worry about it. But yes I think the servers could be considdered private domain which is why law enforcement may need a warrent. But lets face it, if they want you to take a fall that bad they will find a way to make it happen.
