this is exactly what i mean. If you compare www.paderkino.de with www.heise.de e.g. concerning scrolling smothness you must notice the diference! I can't think that this is only my problem, but it must be a OS X problem...!? It makes me wonder that some of you say that it is smooth. Compare these two sites and tell me if the behave the same...

Humm, on my 800Mhz powerbook there is no difference between the pages -- they both scroll as fast as I can move the scroll weel on my mouse. OS version 10.2.6 Safari 1.0 Beta 2 (v73).

Are you running Mac OS 10.2.6, or have you gotten behind on updates?
Are you running the latest version of Safari?
