That site [MOSR] has its own purpose, and, you know what? I like it. Yes, i admitt, i casually browse through it. Its fun, its rumor (at least at some level) and thats it. Period.

best and have a nice weekend

I guess that would be all fine and dandy if they were being humorous about it but they are dead serious. That's what makes it so hilarious/sad.

macrumors.com is a wonderful site, doing a great job summarizing rumors from all kinds of sites - be it public newspapers like NY Times or LA Times or typical mac rumor sites like ThinkSecret, MacBidouille or even (sigh) MacOSRumors.com. Their Buyer'sGuide is an interesting addition, and the "Page2" section sometimes has interesting notes, too.

MacOSRumors (MOSR) though is a site that TOTALLY MAKES UP everything they claim. It's OBVIOUS from the start to anyone who knows better than MOSR does. I could do such a page too - claim that I have this beta and that alpha, have seen this prototype and that secret demo, and write page after page about it. But it would be lying, and it IS lying what they're doing. I'm sad about anyone who believes in MOSR.

Typically, I just read macrumors.com once or twice a day, looking at new stories, and if anything interesting comes up, I dig further into it. Saves a lot of time.

MOSR is the internet equivalent of a comb-over or a mid-life crisis ponytail.
