Is it time to redefine the concept of Europe ?

Whoa...I can feel the heat !
I note with Interest that the second most spoken language in Australia is Italian.....
There is still a strong affinity with Europe.
My parents generation were mainly war refugees..and really had no option but to risk coming out to Australia.
I have been fortunate in being able to visit the old country..Even though iI was born here.
I now have dual citizenship, which is my right under the Mastricht treaty.
So I am an Australian & European Citizen..
Australia is such an interesting mixture of peoples..who get along incredibly well...for the most part...
Except when it comes time to football.....
