I roll mine every now and then, but I usually tend to stick to tailor-made just because I'm usually trying to catch a cigarette between classes or quickly at work. I have a rolling machine, just two little rollers with a plastic sheet around them, that I got for $30. Bugler is a good brand to get, Top ain't that bad either, both of them I can get a decent sized pouch and 36 (I think) papers for about $1.30. Well, that's in upstate New York anyway, up near Rochester. How much is a pack of regular cigarettes in your part of NY? In Rochester they're usually about $4.80 for the regular brands (Newport, Marlboro, etc.) and Salem's are almost always buy-one-get-one-free some where in town. I met some kid who had one of those machine that put the tobacco in the tubes with the filter on it, he said he got the machine, 100 tubes w/ filters, and a tin of tobacco for about $9, that's not too bad.

In the city, smokes vary from about $6-9/pack. Thats for marb reds (i never really bought anything else). The cheaper ones, are knock-offs or something; they have a weaker taste, and the box doesn't have 'Vini Vidi Vici' on it. I always thought the disgusting taxes we had were state-wide though. i bought some packs when i was in school in Rochester, and they were about 5.5-6; probably overcharging on campus though.

i'm really surprised that in this state you can get a pouch for under $2. makes me almost want to move out of the city. well, maybe not.

i've seen those injector tubes and machines, but i couldn't get one. then i'd completely miss out on rolling, which i find kind of fun. i'm getting better at it with every cig.

Everytime I've seen somebody use one of those injector machines they always crumple it up anyways.
