Gateway is selling a 42" Plasma Monitor (TV) ... (about $3000)...
Should Apple offer the ultimate Cinema Display...
I think they should...
I'd buy a 42" Plasma Monitor/TV from Apple. Why not?

Now, Apple is considered to be the maker of the ultimate hardware... So the obvious answer is... yes... Apple should, if they can make a profit (but only if they couldn't make a bigger profit from some other manner... only if the money couldn't be better invested... )
In general, Apple is the only real power equipment I can think of to come in a Snow Theme, Gray/Silver are all over the place... So if they made it I'd actually like to see it in Snow...
I've also longer been a bigger fan of direct view Tubes, over Plasma, or LCD, or Projection... A Large HDTV/Monitor would be an interesting idea...
Now what can we do to make up for the mhz race... 3 processors? 4? (dual PPC 970 would indeed RoXoR, I was just kidding about 3 or 4...)

You go to your TV to turn your brain off. You go to the computer when you want to turn your brain on.

he doesn't want apple to be associated with mindless entertainment [aka: television].
