How stable is Panther in it's current state? Has anyone run in to some ugly bugs? Hard crashes? If it is fairly stable then that would be my favorite thing as I'd be more likely to install it.
Mounting a disk image now happens with in the Finder, you don't have to see Disk Copy start. It's incredibly smooth, there's still a pause for it to mount (about 4 seconds for a 600 MB disk image) but it's nice and unobtrusive.

No, seriously, I too think the new features of the finder have plenty of potential, if only they'd avoid making it so...
UGLY
1. Speed. Finally we have OS9 speed.
2. Finder. Metal or not, it needed to be overhauled, and it has been.
3. Expose. This rocks on toast.
4. Speed. Yes, it's important enough to list twice.
