Direct connect seems like it should be teh win, what with 6 petabytes of data, but I never have any luck with it....slow users, not much selection(surprisingly)
I wish you could download folders as one piece, instead of all the contents simaltaneously.

You CAN download folders at a time. If a folder comes up in a search then control click it and select download.. Or.. double click the item and it'll download the person's list. then click the folder in question and click the download button at the top of the window. PM or e-mail me for further details.
would 30gb be a good amount for sharing on DC these days?
Yeah. But some hubs make you share more believe it or not. If you're lucky the bots that control that may over look the Mac OS X client and you can stay until an op kicks you..... That's what I do very often.

Those are precisely the sort of people the RIAA are going after.
Heh yeah. But I don't think they're gonna target Direct Connect users.. I don't think they know about it...
at least it shouldn't require much cpu speed, so you would think it would run at acceptable speed.

If I were you I wouldn't mess with KaZaA right now... The RIAA is actively searching ppl that download music on it...
