    yes, the 5 giger was selling good because it was the cheapest. So why wouldn't they just increase everything. make the low end the 10 gb, then the 20 gb, then a 20 gb with color screen, or maybe a 40gb ( doubt it ). All I know is, on january 7th, i'm stayin home from school to watch the keynote, then I'm gonna buy a damn iPod. At least 10 GB

    How cheap do you think they could make the 5gig model? Why not keep it and keep it as cheap as possible to make it as easy as possible for people like me to enter the mp3 market?



    Even call it the ePod if you want...

    Heh, why don't they just make 4 models? None of us have thought about that. They put out 4 models for the G4's and stuff like that. Why not 4 models for the iPod. A 5 GB, 10 GB, 20 GB, and a 20 GB color screen.

    better yet why not bundle the 5 gig ipod in free with the purchase of a new mac?



    buy a mac, get an ipod.



    but if you want the "better", or "best" ipod you'll have to pay
