I use VicomSoft . It's fast, supports SFTP, bi-directional synchronizing, directory caching, and supports many hosts that Transmit just can't connect to. Don't get me wrong, Transmit is a great piece of code, but in my line of work I need a more hardcore FTP client.
I just posted a problem I was having with ftp transfering in the genius bar. I was trying to use the built-in ftp client in Jaguar. Is there a full up ftp client in Jag? Check out the genius bar to see my problem.
To the member that had a complaints about Transmit not handling 0 byte files, that issue appears to have been fixed months ago in the 2.5.1 update (released May 30th, 2003).
From the release notes:

Fixed a problem where SFTP uploads would be 0 bytes after a large number of files ("remote handle")
Why is there not an app for OS X that can even touch FlashFXP!? I have looked and looked and nothing makes FTP sessions as glorious as Flash. The closest I see is Transmit... cept it's still lame. Why. Port FlashFXP to OS X and I garantee that will be the best FTP/FXP client for Macs ever.
