Well, most good Christians would not be visiting such a site anyways, now would they?

but, you see, in your utter distaste for the site you have brought attention to it. free advertising essentially. others, who might not be so offended, have now heard about it (thanks to the overwhelming popularity of ai and ao). in essence, you have become what you seem to hate: a fish monger.

the site bugs me (and i'm not a theist), but i would rather move to another country or chop off [someone else]'s arm than attack the site's freedom in respect to their name. imo, freedom of speech should be nearly absolute, and furthermore i think the freedom of religion should be absolute, to the point where government says nothing, either way, wrt religion. aiding the religious side would, in a way, be pushing christianity above other religions, unless govt forced all religion-offending sites off the net. and that would be too much. what's next? censoring political dissidents? censoring the out-of-office party if they aren't all christians?

I admit to feeling a slight twinge of offense at "jesuslovesporn.com", but I can't get too worked up about it. I wouldn't go out of my way to make a joke like that myself -- it's not my style -- but, on the other hand, I can't think of anything that needs more lampooning and more satire than religion and spiritualism.

Respect for a person's right to believe and worship as they wish? Of course.

Respect for those beliefs themselves? No... that's not something I think has to be automatic.

Religion's greatest PR triumph has been to create a general notion that somehow, once a person attaches the label "religion" to a belief system that suddenly that belief system is special, untouchable, beyond questioning or criticism. Certainly not something to laugh at. So, you while diligently get all of your rationalizations lined up for how global travel and satellites work for the flat earth that your God reveals to you as TRVTH, the rest of us must politely refrain from sniggering, because after all, it's what you believe .

As far as I'm concerned, the only difference between the silliness of a religiously held belief in a flat earth and most of what else passes as religion and spiritualism is just a matter of degree, not of kind.

I understand that jesuslovesporn.com may be offensive to some Christians, but I imagine that the majority of them are able to see it for what it is: a puerile joke.

Personally, I find websites like Westboro Baptist Church's godhatesfags.com to be much more objectionable, as they carry a message of hatred purporting to be the word of God.

Both sites and their creators are equally worthless.

But I must admit to be groaning under the strain, as a result of discovering that there is a porn company called " Jesus loves porn "

I understand the right to free speech, but when it insults a basic corner stone of many peoples faith across the world..I get angry...Is there no limit to depravity ?

Imagine the outrage if the site was called Mahomet loves porn or Buddha loves porn.

Don't get me wrong, I love the beauty of the human form..and as a painter, it is the toughest challenge for me to paint to nude..so I don't mind looking at the body from an artist's point of view.

But this is an entirely different purpose...one that is evil...or at minimum deliberately insulting...

    Prepare to be more appalled.

I met Jesus last week at McDonald's. He told me that he does in fact LOVE PORN. I know, I was surprised too. Now I am OK with it. I accept him for what he is- A MYTHICAL ARCHTYPE.

    God bless Bella Donna. :0)

Let's get real folks, First I don't wanna be thinkin' of Jesus while I'm playin with my cod. Second, you, I and Jesus know that porn don't need no celebrity spokesperson to sell it, "this here shit sells itself"
