I believe maintenance usually takes place over the weekends not during the sellling days of the week. Also this is Tuesday, the day when Apple previously has announced almost all of their new hardware. We'll know shortly.

I can't believe it NO changes to iMacs just speed bumps to PowerMacs. Why on earth not, it really makes no sense to me. The iMac is now over 12 months without a bump, I am ready to buy another five but have no intention of buying current machines.

Yea but you can get a Powermac now for only $1599 not bad. And the 23" screen is now only 1999 and the 20" is only 1,299. I think apple is headed in the right direction. I suspect the iMac to be updated next tuesday.

Looks like your 23" Cinema is within reasonable reach now. Just waiting for the 970 now?? This is the first time I have been seriously tempted by the Cinema display because the cost isn't too prohibitive. Exciting!!
