They're criticizing his lack of a forward thinking energy policy.

This is stupid. Everyone deserves a little blame for this one! Just my attempt at being "fair and balanced" (now running from the guy trying to serve me a subpoena from Fox News).

Latest word is that the blackout problems originated from Cleveland.

Of course it's still rather premature to definitively pinpoint the source.

However, if this is true, I just hope New York mayor Blumberg would would apologize for his idiotic statements that he was certain the problem originated in Canada. The more I see of this moron Blumberg, the more I miss Guiliani...and I'm not even a New Yorker!

Sounds like a case of premature triangulation.

Wow that proves it. I'm voting for Nader. He'll fix this! CBS huh?

Oh My God. What "bad energy policy" would that be?

Cheney: "Go ahead Sam, cut those valuable maintenence jobs"

    Sam: "But, sir!"

Cheney: "Cut them. On my personal authority! Ich hail!"

What happened to personal responsibility? Why are the tax payers paying for this if a solitary company was responsible for not maintaining the alarm system that would have thwarted this problem?

This quoted post is in no way hostile to those that disagree with you. It is most certainly not meant as an insult. Gee, but if I said that you would be screaming YOU ARE OVER THE TOP AND YOU MUST BE SENT TO THE GAS CHAMBER ACHTUNG!

Come on man. Stop being a hypocrite.

I'd call that "corporate responsiblity". (As in, the corporations that prefer profits over maintaining a modern infrastructure should pay the cost when it bites them in the ass).

It galls me when I read that now the rate payers have to pony up an additional $50 billion to fix the infrastructure. Where are the savings deregulation is supposed to bring us? I can't seem to find the savings, whether its energy or telecommunications ...
