Lets give the poor guy (I think) a break. I know that everyone here knows everthing about everything (I'm searous too, it's crazy how much people know here, it scares me sometimes ) but this guy is obviously new to the AI comunity, we don't want to scare him away before he has a chance to get his feet wet. I know that endless prediction posts are annoying and only serve to clog up the forums, but give the guy a chance. How many times have all of us been wrong about things? We tore him apart, give him a chance and bring him down gently, don't destroy him on his fifth post. I think we all owe ipodandimac an appology.

Yes and don't forget the quad g5's/. Oh and the dual g4 powerbooks they are going to release two weeks before the g5 powerbooks! LOL!

Seriously though it will be interesting to see the next gen of g3 with that fast bus, and higher clock speeds. unless your doing serious photo, video, or audio work, these newer g3's will be more than enough for the average user at a great price.

You bet. If Apple doesn't hobble the new G3s in the iBooks (and why would they? \ ), these are going to be both powerful and affordable, with long battery life besides. Couple that with higher screen resolution in the 14", and who needs a powerbook?

Apple has no doubt had that same thought...
