Mackie LARGE following in the Tech business. Pretty much every soundboard I use was a Mackie including the one on my desk here. (If you ever read one of their instruction manuals you know what I am talking about)
Griffin Technology (Before they were sooo late with their iTrips)

more to come...
We've got a Mackie in our TV studio! It's uh... controller unit thingy... is the only working PC in there. (The others are used to hold up camera monitors.) The other 6 computers used in the studio are all Macs from various eras. Our former engineer bought his first Apple at a San Francisco computer convention from Jobs and Woz themselves.
edited for the curious
A PowerMac G4 and a flat-panel iMac handle straight to HD digital playback and recording.
A beige PowerMac G3 266 holds an audio library.
Another flat-panel iMac is our titler.
An older Mac I'm unfamiliar with is our teleprompter.
An even older Mac I'm even less familiar with runs our light grid.
I'll try to get some specifics for the die-hard Macfans next time I'm in there.
Yes Smalldog is cool I want to go visit their hq in vermont, it's close to my house.
Cool company? Ambrosia. Also couldn't live without Unsanity. Cooper, the maker of the Mini, is pretty cool. My cousin has one with the "unauthorized" manual, they are fiiiine. Whoopi was supposed to pick it up but didn't so it is all tripped out. Yea I'm jealous!

Yeah right. Only recently has VW come out with cars that aren't ass ugly. I guess I'm just impartial because everyone around here has them.
