Many of his points are just obvious fact. Not like the Whitewater conspiracies that went nowhere.

Fact. The Christian Coaltion gives scores to Republican's rating them at 100... many of these same politician's had affairs and left their wives... and some of them even retained their perfect 100 scores... it's stuff like that he points out when disproving the right-wing's claim that they are morally superior.

However... Joe Conason doesn't claim that democrats have cornered the market on morality or "just" thinking.

Actually I would think that shows the types of distortions that you get by having secondary sources interpreted by third parties. I have seen the types of Christian Coalition report cards to which you are referring. There are no grades or percentages given for moral behavior. They have an agenda and gave 100% to those who voted for all them items they endorse on their agenda.

Your statement is like saying NOW gave Bill Clinton a 100% score because he is a woman. Oh wait...

Try to get your "facts" straight please.

Nooo... you're wrong... that's like the Christian Coalition giving a 100 to someone who was pro-life yet had an abortion. The Christian Coaltion gave 100's to politicians who were "pro-family" while they were breaking up their own marriages. Which points to the hypocrisy. "We don't care how they live their lives as long as the "vote" how we want them too."

It would be like Greenpeace endorsing Bush because he says he'll improve the environment... while Texas is one of the most polluted states in the country.
