Maybe. Let me see...um, nope. I checked and I'm not. Nice try though. Your consolation prize is a big raspberry and a happy middle fingered salute. Perhaps you could try again later with a better answer?

Well, 2.5 hours of dealing with MLB's awful ticket system, I finally got 2 bleacher seats for Game 3 of the ALCS at Fenway. Since all I could afford was bleacher seats, I'm really happy that the system finally came up with those over $110 box seats.

Ok, now people can yell at me about how the Red Sox won't make the ALCS or how I paid too much for the tickets.

The truth is that I've never been to a MLB playoff game and I actually had a shot at getting tickets this time, so I went for it. Now hopefully, I get to use them.

They weren't sold within 2.5 hours? Tickets here were sold out within 20 minutes!

Technical problems basically. They handle it in about the worst way possible. Too many people want tickets at once, and overload the system within 30 seconds. Then they only let 5 or 6 people into the phone system at a time to purchase tickets, meaning it takes even longer.

Games 3 and 4 are sold out now, but there are still some tickets for Game 5.

Red Sox should (and hopefully will) beat the A's.

Yankees can beat the Red Sox..... A's are scary.

applenut, you should go to a As game, if only to heckle the Red Sox. Plenty of tickets available at the Coliseum for every single game.

B*llshit. The beach balls fall onto the field because some idiots mishit them. To say that the Dodger fans do it on purpose is just idiotic.

I have never in my life, and I've been to MANY games through the years...not ONCE have I heard the fans cheer an injury. You're a liar. You must be a frustrated Giants fan. Why don't you comment on how the giants fans throw batteries at the players? Or how about this recent tragedy?

Police: Dodgers fan shot. Killed by Giants fan.

Does throwing batteries fall under your "stupid crap" BS? If so you may want to check why Giants fans are know as the "battery chuckers". Do a search and you'll see how ridiculous your statements are. You're an ignorant.

On a more "positive note"....should the Cubs meet the Red Sox in the WS, could that mean the end of the world?

Another nugget from the more giants fans...at Dodger stadium

"I was there last night... and 4 Giants fans actually ripped off the entire back of the bleachers in section 307 row W seats 101-106. Now there's just a bench. I tried to take a picture but it was getting pretty violent over there."

Gilsch, who's the ignorant one? Just check out the dodgers.com messageboard vs the sfgiants.com messageboard and see which fans are more hostile.

FIRST OF ALL: The shooting victim turned out to be a GIANTS fan. The LA Police should be ashamed of themselves for even mentioning fan allegiance in the first place. It results in confusion, and in this case even error. Hmm yeah, somehow I doubt a Dodgers fan would like his coffin draped with a Giants flag.

And **** yes the beachballs do land on the field at very important moments of the game. At the particular game where the fan was killed, it was Team Picture day. Every fan got a huge poster of the team. People made paper airplanes out of them...Guess what they did?

The Dodgers cheered Mota beaning Piazza a couple of years ago. The Dodgers cheered when Durham limped off the field after he pulled a hamstring trying to steal a base earlier this year.

The more Dodgers fans deny that Chavez Ravine has turned into an absolute shithole in the last half decade, the worse it will get. It even happened in the World Series last year. I'm betting it's Dodger fans that effectively looted the Anaheim stadium after the series ended.

This would in turn be like the San Diego Raiders fan phenomenon. Out of control locals who just happen to cheer the Giants. You never see that kind of crap up here. No batteries or lighters tossed onto the field. Like we'd do that at our home field. We're too busy talking on our cell phones anyway, or something.

Maybe you should check out the A's message board and read some of the crap that the drunken giants fans post there. You can't be that naive. Maybe you're a new bandwaggoning Giants fan or something. Otherwise you should know that around the league, Giants fans have been known for being savages....the "battery chuckers".

Did it occur to you that they were going by what witnesses were saying? Of course not, then you wouldn't have a point to bitch at. How lovely then....a Giants fan killed by another Giants fan. You should be proud Eugene! I find it interesting that you didn't comment on the murder but instead went after the Police. What a dumbass.

I'd love for you to elaborate what type of plays the beach balls affect . Play is stopped when there's a beach ball in the outfield between pitches. Have you EVER seen a catch not being made in the outfield because of a beach ball? a player trip on a beach ball? have you ever seen a beach ball even come REMOTELY close to home plate, or first base or third base? Not even a super windy day could cause that to happen. So tell me, how could a beach ball affect play? BULL****.

They do that everywhere. Better paper planes than batteries Einstein.

For a Dodger hater, you sure seem to follow them a lot.Giants fans have been known to do that time immemorial.Do you have a link for the Piazza "beaning" cheering incident? The drunken Giants fans, or battery chuckers as they're known around the league, have always been so "classy" that Lasorda once wondered if they were more Dodger haters than giants fans.

Relax little bandwaggoner. I don't really get your rationale here, you have totally ceased to make sense. Dodger Stadium might be old, but it's still considered one of the cleanest ball parks in the country. If you had been there you wouldn't be talking the ridiculous crap you are. I doubt Dodger Stadium could ever be the shithole Candlestick Park was LMAO. Remember that shithole? Nah, you're a new bandwaggoner. And do you even know what Chavez Ravine is?

Your little comment about the Dodger fans looting Edison Field is ridiculous. Do you have any proof of that? I don't recall anyone anywhere suggesting that. Have you no shame? You're just making an ass of yourself now.
