    Seriously at least in US and Canada Ford's cars really suffer the poor quality / reliabilty



    In Canada Ford has a nicked name:



    Found On the Road Dead

    And, hey, I own a Ford, and no, it is has not given me trouble after 3 years. My previous car was also a Ford, which I took to 300,000km (with, admittedly, one transmission change along the line). Both were/are Tauruses. Some other Ford models do cause major problems, e.g., the North American built

    Focus - I think that the European-built one has had more sucess. And now I see that I am way off topic....
