BT Robbed

For those of you who haven't heard, BT's studio was robbed -- everything was taken.
BT is a long time Apple user, and as we saw with the Powerbook G4, he often gets to play around with new hardware before it's released. In other words, he very well could have had unreleased hardware in his studio when it was robbed.
Kind of makes you wonder if LCD iMac's and GHz G4's are going to start showing up in pawn shops around BT's studio...

Holy shit! This really sucks! I am a really big fan of BT's music, and now his new cd wont be out cause some jackass took all his stuff!

Yep. Sounds like he's going to have to cancel a bunch of concerts, too.
The young guy with the Goo Goo Dolls hair talking about the TiBook and how cool it was?
Is that the guy?
Hope he catches a break and the people who did it are nabbed.
but anyway, there's no way in hell he tests hardware. That's silly.
and not to be a jerk or anything, but I'm sure he could afford to buy everything all over again even if he didn't have insurance - which I'm sure he does.

Is that a personal opinion, or a professional one? Are you a musician as well?
And anyway, it's not so much the equipment, as it's what's on the equipment. Remember the guy that lost a Powerbook with his next book on it? I can't remember the amount of the reward, but it was more than enough to buy a few Powerbooks.
Backups-- we don't need no stinkin'... d'oh!
uh, who the hell is BT?

Obviously the guy has no clue of what he's talking about...
Don't get me wrong, I feel for the guys robbed and sincerely hope things get sorted out, but... The professional thieves rarely get caught. I can't see that this was done by a bunch of amateur kids looking for a computer to steal.
Whatever.....
Umm can you say PR stunt. I mean come on read the story how more made up can it be and it will pay off in spades because everyone will know who he is now. A few years ago he was robbed at gunpoint and now again. Come on!
Whatever.....
