Remember when Apple ruled in schools? Back in the II/II+/IIe/IIc days? Why did those succeed? Because the IBM monsters where 2-4x the size (volume-wise)? Because IBMs were harder to use? Hell no! Remember what each cost?
Apple IIs = $1,300.00 (well, between $1200-1400)
IBM XT = $7,500.00
That is why they sold a boatload and ruled the schools. They need a model today that will accomplish this again!
