We had the same problem with iMac FP G4s and the PowerMac G4 from January 2002 through June 23, 2003. So I don't think Apple sees it quite the way we do.
But didn't Apple have that problem because of Motorola's inability to add some muscle to the G4? I don't think IBM will falter and leave Apple hanging like Moto did. Steve like his bragging rights and the sooner he can say he has the world's fastest portable he will.
Also, I thought people were saying Apple wants to rely less on Motorola - but now (except for the PM G5), everything is Motorola made G4s... what's up with that?
I am also a bit naive and deep down inside I guess I believe when Steve sees this he'll say: "Damn, that boy is right, let's get to it!" But don't ask about it, I'll just deny ever saying that. Man, I need a doctor...
