Same here, 2 months ago I made the switch by buying a 12" Powerbook G4 (rev and I simply LOVE IT! I keep getting jelaous looks everytime i place my notebook next to people's bulky PC-laptops with WiFi-antenneas sticking out of the PCMCIA-slots and which are permanently attached to their adapters because their Pentium 4 2.4GHz only runs on the battery for an hour
No regrets here

There is one small problem though, my PB suffers from a latch issue. I have to press it pretty hard and hold it for a second to make it close, while the PB of a friend of mine closes with the lightest touch.
So my 17" Powerbook is 2 days old, I just finished doing a clean install of Panther and loaded all of my software.
I can't believe how beautiful it is, I was going to get the 15" as I thought maybe the 17" would be too big, but you know what, it looked bigger in the Apple Store than it does at home.
I do have a question, do any of you use anything between the keyboard and display to keep from getting the display marked?
Right now I'm using the piece of foam that came with the Powerbook.

Or are my concerns unfounded?
I used the foam also for the first two weeks, now I use nothing. There is plenty of space between the keys and screen, so I think it is fine. I am going to buy a screenseleeve soon though, just to be ssafe.
I WANNA MARRY MY 15" 1.25 ALBOOK!!!! For real!! It's got the white spots, but i'm holding off on fixing it. Going tomorrow to find out the deal, then get it fixed in a few weeks, hopefully there'll be a long term solution/replacement then.
It's my first mac, i'm not used to being able to run multiple programs without the system freaking out, APPLE 4 EVA!!!!!! I run cubase, dreamweaver, excel, mail, itunes all at once without a hint of slowdown. The other night i opened nearly ALL my programs and it freaked abit, but that includes final cut pro, dvd pro studio, word, flash, fireworks, etc. Too good!!! Oh, and ipods, holy hell!!! Changed my life!!! I can listen to anything from my entire rekkid collection at any time, mindblowing!!! 40 gig isn't that big after all!!! heh
I have been using my 17 for over a year now and you do not need anything between tthe screen and the keyboard. I had a Ti 500 (15) and it needed the cover.
