cd slot color variation on new imac

has seen the new imacs

in person noticed

that the cd slot in front

is a shade different

then the rest of the base

it's not noticable in

the pictures but it

really stands out

when seen in the flesh

eh?

Probably a different plastic, so it can't color match presicely.

I saw the new machine at an Apple Store ... the difference in tone is minimal, and only noticeable up-close.

It's not much different, but it's noticeable.

the black of the tray

beneath the front plate?

is also black

underneath but

it is not very noticable

at all

the only difference

is that one is matte

and one is glossy
