All of these computers scream "90s APPLE!!!". They all look old, dated, and many of them are impractical and crappy. I hope nothing like those machines comes to market, that would be nothing but bad news. Bring back the Cube for the 20th Anniversary!

Um, I hate to point this out to you, but those were the prototypes for the 20th Anniversary product that came out, well, in the 90's. You guys need to stop confusing the two different 20th anniversaries.

This keyboard motherboard combo will be sorta portable. I'm sure this can be done. What do your think?

Wouldn't that tend towards looking like this?

Then it could be refined.... Just imagine the display being bigger.

Of course, it would be more ergonomic to separate the keyboard out taking us back to this.

Seriously though, wouldn't it be cheapest to just sell us a motherboard and processor? Switchers already have a PC case with optical drive(s), hard drive(s), possibly RAM from their old MB, power supply, network card (although this is built into the nice MB from Apple), monitor, etc.

Really, all a switcher needs in a package are:

    1. Apple Motherboard

    2. PPC processor

    3. Mac OSX install CDs.

However, this really takes away from selling the whole widget, or really a computer at all.

The next step after this would be to partner with Dell (or insert other favourite comodity PC supplier here) to sell PPC based computers with Apple's MB in them and OEM licensed OS.
