    I think having savestates makes the games much more enjoyable but certainly easier. I can complete Donkey Kong on my Mac much quicker than I could on my SNES.



    BTW, for people who want to watch WMV, you can also get the Flip4Mac plugin that plays WMV in Quicktime. It even plays it inside your browser and supports WMV9 including AVI and HD. Microsoft bought the player license and give it away free.
