I like the new features a lot! I can't wait to mess around with it.

I was wondering if it is possible to set the size of the thumbnails in the drawer? On a laptop that big drawer might waste screen real estate.

Having it licensed feels good. Ah. Peace of mind.

And all those new features! They've done it again.

You have to watch thevideo of the tab draw in action. Good bye Safari, Camino, Mozilla, IE, and every other browser out there.

A question: can anyone (Tim2?) comment on the unicode support in OW 5? In OW 4.2 it works fine, in OW 4.5 it appears broken (same rendering as Camino or other Mozilla based browsers), how about OW 5?

Ok, I've calmed down a little after the initial shock wore off. This really is going to set the bar high when it comes to web browsers. The individual site preferences is genius, the workspaces seem great. The customizable search field, sorry moki, means I don't have to buy iSeek. Finally page marking makes so much more sense then Snap Back. Alls the while being built on WebCore. I'm sure this is only the tip of the iceberg too.

Don't be thinking the use of multple one's in a post is for your use though, buddy boy...

EDIT: my post from MacNN on the tab video:

That is the feature that is going to get me to buy a browser (rather than use the free ones). The animations..Oh my..how much processor does it take up, though?

Can it be on both sides of the window? The toolbar icon would not suggest so....

That is just ****ing amazing... like, so ****ing amazing. I tip my hats off to you all at the OmniGroup.... Can I be an OmniGroupie ...man, what a horrible joke....

That is the most amazing thing ever, I love it... I cannot describe how much I love it

Can we see the App Icon now?

I would assume so. It appears to be a standard sidebar.

now, you see? THIS is why i want more browsers like this ported to windows. seriously, i don't care how embedded internet explorer is to windows, you market and offer this broswer to the windows crowd, and maybe offer it free bundled with itunes 4 for windows (that way, apple doesn't have to port safari, remaining an apple exclusive, but they also help ween people off of IE), and i GUARANTEE defections, at least away from IE. period.

i truly believe that people will eventually be swayed by better features and design. idealistic, i know, but it's time microsoft learned an important lesson that you can't just buy up cyberspace acreage and trust it won't come back to bite you in the ass later.

hmurchison: They already have such a bundle. Check it out here. It includes OmniGraffle 3 (standard edition), OmniWeb 4 (free upgrade to OW5 if you buy now), OmniOutliner 2 and OmniDiskSweeper. All for $119.95. Education pricing is available.

Yeah, I'm a Omni Group whore... ahaha!

Wow, this is even better than I expected. Absolutely fabulous work, guys. February 2 can't come soon enough!

It's a strong statement about the Mac platform that, even with an OS-provided web browser, there's still great platform-specific web browsing innovation going on. And most of it is coming from Omni!

You just got my $30! (See, I'm even gonna forego my student discount!)

Cool! Thanks Defiant. I knew they had bundles but I didn't know about what products.

Can't wait to see what they've done with Outliner 3.
