I really hate cigarette companies and I hope they all get put out of business. I can't stand large amounts of second hand smoke. I still want people to be able to smoke though.
As for public places, I'm torn. There are some bars I won't go into simply because they're too smoky. I don't need the government to fix it for me. But at the same time in the states that already made the switch a while ago (California) even smokers say they're happier with smoke free environments. Before reading that I was dead set against 100% smoke free environments, but since I'm more open to the idea.
I remember an Italian surgeon working on my head, sewing me up, with a smoke haning out of his mouth during the procedure.
Going to shows and bars and not coming home smelling like an ashtray rocks. I thought the banning of cigarettes in NYC was kinda messed up... but now I think it rocks.
Let the smokers huddle up outside... more room inside for me!
