I'm a pissed of LightWave user right now. NewTek has been "considering options" to rectify the $100 price jump for Mac users. The say, well, you can still use the SW on a PC or VPC. C'mon. I have a novel idea...forget the bonus-bundle and just cut the price.
We use LW at work on Macs and won't be changing any time soon. But I will.
I stated w/LW because it was just about the only credible 3D app on the Mac. Now that Maya is evolving quite nicely, I'm running out of patience w/ NewTek. Despite their claim, Mac users are treated as second class citizens. On top of that, every NewTek employee which I have had face to face conversations with has had a very dismissive attitude toward Macs. I know its not the company line, but there is a sense of an anti-Mac attitude among the users.

A1: To cover the cost of the bundled windows-only app DFX+.
Q2: Which version of LW works with OS 10.3?
A2: Please use 10.2 while we consider whether to patch the only available versions.
