    No, an accurate analogy. I know you don't like to hear it, but it's true. Going to war with Iraq didn't stop sanctions. Stopping the sanctions stopped the sanctions. You'll probably have trouble with that logic but I'm not sure why.

    Well, then the US Army didn't kill any Iraqis. Their own bodies did.



    I understand the logic, it's asinine.



    The war stopped the sanctions. Or, rather, to satisfy your fatuous logic, the war caused the UN nations in power to vote to end the sanctions.

    Talk about poor logic, a nuclear war would have done the same thing but the nuclear war would have been overkill.
