Did we ever leave two-party politics? In a way, *we* are responsible for the two-party system by compromising our ideal candidate for the most electable candidate (closest to our own views). That's exactly what happens a lot of the time. Yeah, it's our fault, but it'll continue like this until we initiate major reform. Duverger's Law states that winner-take-all plurality voting naturally leads to a two party system. I place ultimate blame on the system itself.

It's called a Republic, not a Democracy.
It's a democratic republic. Are there any governments that are pure democracies? I don't think so.
Not just liberal, but ultra-liberal.
How far to the right would someone
have to be to find this place ultra-liberal?
I voted for Bush in 2000. I know, I know....my sincerest apologies go to all planet Earth citizens.
My vote in 2004 will go to whoever wins
the Democratic nomination. Unless
it's Liebermann!
