I don't agree, 10 is by far superior to 6, there's so much more you can do. With out the advances done to it my job would be a lot harder. The only down side is it could be faster.
Well, probably it's just because I'm not used to 10, I'm used to version 6. Although my mom uses Illustrator to make her living, and she has since way back when Illustrator 88 was out. Since version 6, she says she's never really been comfortable with it, it's just too alien to her, and she'll usually work on her maps and diagrams in version 6 in Classic mode just because it's so much more intuitive for her. I guess it just takes a lot of time every time they update to learn the new version.
Illustrator 10 is leaps and bounds ahead of 6. It's a much better app, ans has gotten better through the years. Sure, learning new stuff takes time, it always does, but that doesn't make 10 a bad app, or any less than 6.
