HAPPY BIRTHDAY... APPLE !!!!! (Jan 24th)

in General Discussion edited January 2014
It's been 20 Good Ole Years since you (Macintosh) were brought into this world and it is something to celebrate!

You've brought so much joy to the world, no matter what anyone had to say about you. In the good and bad times, I stood by your side and held your hand. Heck, I even gave you tons of lunch money.

So you are now 20 years old... next year you'll be able to buy beer!

Okay, so what's my present for always being there for you???

lol hmm... this has nothing to with hardware, and i believe we're celebrating the macintosh, not apple. and it's not the 24th yet, unless you're stuck in a time warp in the future...

Brutal motherf***ers. Give him a break. It's close enough. It's the Mac, it's January 23rd (hell, it might be the 24th somewhere, I don't know). I've told friends "happy birthday" a day or so beforehand, especially if I know I won't see them the day of.

    Shut up.

Happy birthday, Mac. I've baked you an iCake with Aqua blue frosting (hey...nah, never mind).

hehehe, this might be the wrong place to post this but: actually knowing the date when apple was founded to me looks a lot sillier than not exactly knowing it ! ! You freak !

not to put you down of course :-D

let's not compete on who knows more about apples, let us hold hands and blah blah blah

    SHOW US THE GOODIES ! ! ! ! !

    Cheers,

It's Happy Birthday Escher, too. I wasn't just named after a PowerBook Duo codename (or vice versa), I was also born on the same day as the Macintosh (or vice versa). Yay!

    Escher

Happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you, happy birthday dear Macintosh, happy birthday to you!

Cant wait til a G5 PM or PB come out with insane speeds, Apple's gonna get a lot of my money this year, thats for sure...The best way to spend twenty years in the PC business is to stay in business, its pretty remarkable that Apple has weathered many storms in the economy and the ceo fiascos....glad theyre still around. GO APPLE in 2004!

Happy Birthday! It has been a heck of a twenty years. I still have an operational 512k Mac which I bought second hand about 12 years ago.
