in addition, if no one responds to your topic you have to let it die.

most people here have forgotten how to reply to a topic that isn't political anyway. (jk)

I guess you could have asked how dark we each thought the presidential hopefuls like their toast and then argue it's relevance to tomorrows primary elections in NH, but that's just me

My wife and I got into toaster ovens some time ago. Unfortunately the one we just bought is a good oven but bad for toasting bread. It's an Oster.

That's the least of it's abilities. Foremost is the power to consume counter space.

Yikes-- and only $220 at Amazon. That thing better butter up the slices and bring them to my bed side with coffee.

I remember After Dark! Those were some sweet screen savers. I haven't used it since System 8 though. Brings back memories.

Amen! My wife and I got one as an engagement present, and I absolutely love it! Who'd have thought that I could get this excited about a toaster? But then I thought that about vacuum cleaners before we got a Dyson .

Wow, not sure how this thread by Billy_2004 missed Padlock Fever...maybe it's because ALL YOU DOOFUSES LOVE YOUR TOASTERS SO MUCH!!!!

    Gee whiz but that's sad.

And yes, we all saw that badass silver toaster in Murbot's classic "I think I screwed up my hard drive" thread.

Now that's REALLY sad that I remember that part!

Well, they may look like a Fisher Price "My First Vacuum Cleaner", but they do a great job of cleaning! The first time we used it, we filled the cylinder with dust ! And that was after having vacuumed the whole house the day before with the old vacuum. It was quite scary .

My names Dave, and I'm an appiance-holic

    Dave.

Yeah, we did the same when we got our Dyson. We vacuumed a few square metres area in our lounge room, and it was already half full. Our previous vac was a Vax. m.

    Billy, that's quite a tear you're on.

I just noticed your gaggle of locked threads. Since taking up a real job, I've had to make use of the evenings for sleep, so I missed some of the fun.

It was kinda funny, I guess, but here and gone on the wind, like a fart. Speaking of powedered toast, I like those dualits too. Too pricey for a toaster, but nice. I think a benefit of marriage will be that you can get your significant other an appliance without jeopardizing your relationship. Married guys, am I right, or have ye been cut-off for such a gesture?
