That's really interesting reasoning. Clinton was no supporter of the armed forces because he didn't like getting soldiers killed. Bush, on the other hand, has little compunction about risking soldiers' lives and getting them killed, because he supports them?
Clinton didn't learn his lesson in Somalia. Troops getting killed was a political liability for him. After that he was a pussy. He turned the military into a hit and run coward.
So it had nothing to do with him caring about troops. Just himself.
