And MS thought that being able to have windows 'shimmer', wave, and 'flap' was top hat
Actually I kinda like that. I am a big fan of eye candy as long as there is an option to turn it off.
If I am just surfing the web or chatting on AIM it would rule but if I was actually working its hard to tell if that would get annoying or not.. So if there was an option to turn it off that would be nice - and I am sure there is.
I always kinda wished Apple would throw more eye candy into OS X and an option to turn it off to.
I couldn't kill the Dock fast enough, after slow-minimizing the window, until I remembered that you can minimize a background window. So, for others who may not have realized it yet, it helps if, before you minimize the window, you bring the terminal to the front. That way, all you have to do is have a finger poised over the enter key ready to press as soon as you minimize the (background) window.
just curious, did BOTH the quicktime movie AND itunes visualization continue to play in their warped appearance? i know quicktime movies will continue to play in the dock, but the itunes visuals won't.

I wonder if this is what we'd see if OS X were sucked into a black hole...
