well, actually, my sweet applefruit is up since last year, - ok, to specify more, it is up since dec. 18, 2003. no signs of spoiling anyway.

yeah, i admit, i am a X lover. I do not know, if this topic belongs to Appleoutsider, but i am pretty much sure, it has something to do with MacOS X

Im an update freak. Longest iv had mine up is 32 days and couple hours. And not 1 problem. I made the switch to mac back on 10/15/03. And coming from windows, and doing 32 days right after, was amazing to me, hehe.

I would have to say mine is a few months, but since I got my iSub it's less than that. Sometimes it will quit working unless the computer is restarted. I love OS X. So stable, so awesome.

Seems like the OS updates are the only thing that gets us to reboot.

Heh, I've had uptimes upwards of maybe two or three months. I also only shutdown/restart for system updates or if I actually have to move my computer.

Uptime, shmuptime. I would rather stay updated. No crashes and not having to turn off my laptop are nice in between however.

Its not a Mac but our E10K (Sun) has been up over 400 days.

Albeit this is not long for a highend server. At BT there was a VAX Cluster that had over 1000 days uptime.

OT. but funny. Found this on another board after the Super Bowl

    ----------

    New Pepsi tie-in

    _

_Pfizer Corp announced today that Viagra will soon be available in liquid form & will be marketed by Pepsi Cola as a power beverage suitable for use as a mixer.

It will now be possible for a man to literally pour himself a stiff one. Obviously, we can no longer call this a soft drink, and it gives new meaning to the names of 'cocktails,' 'highballs', and the good old fashioned 'stiff drink.'

Pepsi will market the new concoction by the name of "Mount & Do."

Wouldn't Cialis be a better fit here? It's the "all-weekend" pill after all.
