How do I completely uninstall norton? I don't even remember installing it, but it's there alright. So how can I completely clean my system of their crap?
How come 'enable journaling' is not highlighted when i click on my harddrive? It wont let me choose it.
Select the partition name, not the drive itself. If journaling is already enabled, the button will be grayed out. Look for "Format: Mac OS Extended (Journaled)" below.

That's because journaling is already activated on your system. You can see it in Disk Utility at the bottom where it says 'Format: Mac OS Extended (Journaled)'.

Open Disk Utility.
Select your drive from the left side.
Click the green 'Enable Journaling' button in the toolbar.
That's it.
Oh, and with 10.3... the disk defrags itself over time.
