    Apple's Worldwide Marketshare?



    1.81 percent (if you go by IDC's numbers)

    or 1.65 percent (if you go by Gartner's).



    I think most people go by IDC's numbers anyway. Essentially, the PC industry grew ~15% year over year while Apple grew ~5%.

    And the PC industry is everything from cash registers to servers. Using numbers from the market as a whole is just stupid.
