I was in downtown Chicago about a month ago on a Saturday walking toward navy pier. There were all these people milling around trying to look sharp. So then there's this super long line of people going around a corner. I ask this cop helping with traffic what was up. He says "Apprentice 2".
Though she may have contributed to his firing, Kwame ultimately got himself fired for ever selecting her to be on his team for the final task. As Trump said, he showed very poor managerial skills for the whole Jessica Simpson concert deal. I believe the best man won.
They showed some of the Apprentice 2 candidates from here in KC on the news last night. Buncha goobers. They were all "fired" before they could move to the next round. :P
I never really liked Troy. He always seemed to cheesy to me.
Everybody's got their strengths and weaknesses...that's the beauty of it...it's just like real business in a way. Some people will like them and some people won't. But as long asthey get the job done and please the right people they'll be there.
Bill's team got behind him and helped him win. Kwami had Troy who'd walk through fire for him but Omarosa was so incredibly self-involved. There's no way she'd have been an asset to anyone. A project like that will invariably have some glitches. It's how you deal with the problems that sets you apart. Unfortunately for Kwami, Omarosa was either the source of some of his team's problems or she'd make small problems bigger because of her laziness.
Kwami carried himself very well but he really wasn't as a standout manager. If you're going to take on someone like Omarosa, you just have to be prepared to be hyper-anal even if that's not your style. She's just too high maintenance. You can't leave her unsupervised at ALL. And that's part of what management involves. Sometimes you don't have all the pieces in place. Until you do, a good manager adapts to compensate (temporarily) for the weaknesses of his people. After all, the client/customer just wants and deserves results. He doesn't care if one of your employees is the world's biggest fvck-up. That's not the customer's problem. It's yours.
First off, internet etiquette spankings all around...BR is absolutely justified in being pissed off and if you don't understand why you NEED to learn it for your own good.
Next, I missed the final episode but caught up with it on Television Without Pity's website earlier today.
I -did- see the next-to-last episode...for those who missed it:
The gang is eating dinner together at a restaurant and Omarosa gets a phone call in regard to the movement of Jessica Simpson's band...the lady calling her is one of Trump's regular employees, a woman who does this stuff for a living. You can tell that she's pissed with Omarosa (who completely blows her off) and knows that Omarosa had no clue how to handle this situation but she lets it ride overnight.
The next morning this lady calls Kwame to apprise him of the situation, something he's been blissfully unaware of for awhile. When he pointedly questions Omarosa about it she LIES to him and says that she was never actually contacted by the lady in question but simply received a message that the woman would like to speak with her the next day.
A complete and utter lie.
I don't know if this was staged or if it was true. If asked I would guess that it was REAL...I've worked with too many incompetent boobs like Omarosa to believe that they'd need to fabricate the situation.
What an asinine thing to do on national television....it completely destroyed any lingering trust people could have invested in Omarosa, exposing her as the manipulative, shallow individual she truly is.
And yet, she will STILL get that alk show, that clothing line and whatever comes her way because she's a celebrity now....controversy ALWAYS brings in the dough...the funny thing then will be reading about her life a few years from now in the entertainment mags....
Because it's not like she broke the law or anything like that. Look at all the celebs now making money off their pathetic lives...
Enough-A-Rosa showed us all on national TV the bumbling rude idiots us normal people deal with every day in our hum drum lives. That could be why she's so popular. We all KNOW or have dealt with people like that...

besides which, BR is on Mars, which has a hell of a time delay.....
But I love that 29 minute timeslip every night. It's awesome.
