<strong>holy crap, are they gonna this release stuff today?</strong><hr></blockquote>
Would THAT not be funny and wild as hell? Talk about catching us out of the blue.
Go to view Apple's site this evening and there's a big-ass flat panel iMac on the front page with a tagline saying "Gotcha! The new iMac?now shipping."
The keynote on Monday would be about G5s, new displays and a new iApp and digital device.
That gives "The page you tried was not found. You may have used an outdated link or may have typed the address (URL) incorrectly. You might find what you’re looking for in one of these areas:"

Calm down. There is no way Apple will introduce products today. The site being down is probably for random maintenance. Or, they could be changing hardware, that's quite probable in fact, Apple.com being run on MacOSX Server, they need the very best hardware they can get. Especially since the keynote is quite probably going to break all internet attendance records...
Applestore . com is down because Apple are playing games with us, seeing how much of a frenzy they can work up on the internet in a couple of hours. When it resumes it will be exactly the same as it was before...G5/LCD imac notwithstanding
Still showing just a post-it on the Apple Store site. There was some grumbling in another thread that the Store came back up for a few minutes **with a slightly different structure** but then it went down again. Anyone get some screen shots?

Something is going on. Apple only puts up that sticky when they are going to introduce new products.
Weird... <img src="graemlins/bugeye.gif" border="0" alt="[Skeptical]" />

How can they say this when it's a blatant lie?</strong><hr></blockquote>
