Wha? Sounds like just the standard dual monitor support to me, from their PCI Express FireGL product matrix. Why would the display support two DVI inputs?
There are several monitors on the market with insane resolutions that need dual inputs. The inputs are sync'd to supply only a portion of what is needed to fill the screen per input.

Hopefully Apple's delay in new LCD displays has been because of their implementation/version of Sony's Xbrite displays.
